Evangel University students to benefit from new grant
While searching for Christian colleges and universities, students should remember that many of these schools offer ways of making their degrees more affordable.
For instance, Evangel University in Missouri provides a variety of scholarships for students who need help paying for their studies. According to the school’s website, available financial awards cover all or half of students’ tuition and are in recognition of academic achievements, as well as those related to athletics and the arts.
Now, Evangel students are set to gain even more opportunities for financial assistance thanks to the Missouri Colleges Fund, the Springfield News-Leader reported. The university is one of 16 private liberal arts schools that will benefit from the $12,000 scholarship grant Harry Cooper Supply Company recently gave to the fund.
Using this money, the Christian university will be able to underwrite scholarships meant to help students in financial need.
No matter what type of scholarship Evangel students apply for, they stand to make their efforts towards earning degrees like a master’s in psychology or organizational leadership a little easier on them and their wallets.
