Liberty University holds campus events for prospective students

For four weekends each year, Virginia’s Liberty University opens its campus to prospective students who have an interest in studying at a Christian university during its College For A Weekend events.

These special weekends are arranged so that two take place in the spring, while an additional two occur in the fall, according to a university press release. Those who attend have an opportunity to stay in Liberty’s residence halls, visit classes and participate in other campus activities.

The most recent edition of College For A Weekend took place from February 16-19. These four days were significant, as not only did they provide prospective students with a chance to get to know Liberty, but hear some live music as well. The university chose to host the Come To The Well Tour, which featured musical acts Casting Crowns, Royal Tailor, Mathew West and Lindsay McCaul.

However, just because students missed out on this event does not mean they cannot familiarize themselves with the largest Christian university in world in the not-too-distant future. Between March 22-25, the institution will host another College For A Weekend.
