If individuals hope to enter the business sector after earning an associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree from a Christian university or college, they may want to see what types of scholarships are available to them. After some searching on the internet, prospective students will find that there are awards designed specifically for business students.
Here are a few of the scholarships prospective business students may come across while doing their research.
The National Society of Accountants Scholarship Awards Program
If Christians plan on pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting, either part- or full-time at a two- or four-year college or university, they may want to apply to the National Society of Accountants’ Scholarship Awards Program. In order to be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must be enrolled in a higher education institution and have at least a 3.0 average. If selected, they will receive either $500, $1,000 or $2,000, depending on how much funding is available.
Virginia’s Liberty University is one school that can provide training in the field of accounting from a Christian perspective. According to the institution’s website, degrees in accounting are offered at the associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s level.
The National Business Association Scholarship Program
Anybody who is a member of the National Business Association, or is the son or daughter of a member, may be eligible to receive $1,500 annually toward their education at Christian colleges and universities. This financial assistance can cover school expenses, such as tuition, textbooks and other supplies. In order to be considered, students must be seniors in high school, or college freshmen, sophomores or juniors.
If prospective students have their sights set on a business degree, Oklahoma’s Mid-America Christian University is a good place to find programs offered from a religious perspective. According to the school’s website, students can earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or Bible/theology and business.
National Black MBA Association Scholarship Programs
