Liberty University offers tuition discounts to employees of partner companies
Whether individuals have full schedules or a family that requires as much attention as their studies, earning a degree through an online Christian university may be their best option.
Should they choose to enroll in a program being offered by online Christian colleges and universities, they definitely will not be alone. In fact, the number of students who were taking at least one web-based course in 2010 was over 6 million, according to a report from the Babson Survey Research Group and the College Board.
One Christian university that has seen a tremendous increase in interest for its online programs is Liberty University. The school’s website reported that the number of students enrolled in Liberty University Online grew to more than 70,000 students within three years.
With so many individuals enrolled in the Christian university from afar, Liberty is looking for ways to provide these nontraditional students with professional opportunities, such as its Advantage Program. Through this initiative, employees of partner organizations can receive a discount on their tuition when they pursue an online degree from Liberty.
Among the companies the university has corporate partnerships with are AT&T, Sodexo and Wells Fargo.
